I leave on Sunday morning with 40 other people to share a brilliant, life affirming motorbike adventure, I’ve photographed this charity ride 4 times, each time I am humbled and moved by the scenery and people of India. We travel through Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, in and out of the Western Ghats mountain range. I will post some images of this years ride, but in the meantime here are a few from last year. The ride is organised by http://www.enduroindia.com … I can’t wait.

Great picture. I can’t wait to see your shots from this adventure. Also great bike. I have a Triumph America myself. I really enjoy British bikes. How is the Enfield?

The Enfield is quite a unique bike… It’s solid, goes everywhere and anywhere, not so fast, which is a good thing really, any faster in the Himalayas and it would probably shorten an already short life. Biggest trick for new riders to the Indian model to get used to are gear and back brake swapping sides on the bike, and gears working in the opposite way to contemporary bikes. Up for first and three down… Bags of personality. great fun. Happy riding your triumph.
